My favorite podcasts 2019

These are not in any order. But, these are the podcasts I enjoy the most.

Christian History Almanac from 1517: “ This 5-minute podcast consists of stories from the past about the saints and sinners who have shaped the history of the church and concludes with a piece of prose, poetry, and the reminder that everything is going to be ok.”

GodPod from St Paul’s Theological Centre: “Theologians Graham Tomlin, Mike Lloyd, Jane Williams and the occasional guest speaker get together to discuss burning issues of God, theology, life and much more, over a supply of coffee and biscuits.” Seriously wonderful guest!

The Daily: NY Times scores big with this one. I volunteer to drive car pool so that I can listen to this on the way home. Michael Barbaro

The Compline Podcast: I used to attend frequently on Sunday nights on Cap Hill in Seattle. Great way to spend 30 minutes at night.

Pray-as-you-go: Contemplative and engaging daily reflection from the Irish Jesuits, usually based on the daily Gospel reading. They also have great resources for a few different versions of the examen.
