10th Teacher: Katrina Filip from Hersmålen
Thanks to Herb Hoff for introducing me to this 10th teacher. She is excellent in her care of souls. You can meet her in Bishop Bo Giertz’ first novella from his excellent book entitled Hammer of God. Herb has read and re-read this book, and so have I. I’m not going to say more about her. I want you to read it.
So, happy birthday Herb! I am glad you were born, and may God give you many more years and much energy, wisdom, and grace as you care for souls!

Great book! If you are interested in more by Bo Giertz there is a recently translated book filled with his ordination sermons which make a great devotional for a pastor. It is titled "Then Fell the Lord's Fire". There is also a translation of his novel "The Knights of Rhodes". And his devotional "To Live with Christ" is great for pastoral and lay use both.
