Trinity Leader Values

Trinity Leader Values

No honor poverty. Honor begets the same. It is seed.

Leaders are servants. We don't always vacuum, set up tables, and take out the trash, but we do sometimes. We make it clear, that the church doesn't exist to serve us, but that we exist to serve. We are in good company! Mark 10.45.

Leaders look for the person to whom Jesus wants to talk. Usually this is not the same person I would spend free time with. Who is new? Who have I not met? Who is going through pain? Who is fearful? Who is grouchy? Why? What is their backstory? Who is lonely? Who requires extra grace?

Leaders show up and set up in time to minister before, during, and after events. Copying-done. Schlepping-done. Running around-done. Vesting-done. Prayer-done. I am ready to greet, minister, and have a "welcome home" stance.

Worship is #1. It is the most important engine for discipleship, fellowship, mercy, and mission.

We will remember the sabbath day and keep it holy.

There is a difference between hard work and busy. Certain times/seasons, we will work hard for the sake of our neighbor, but not to gain approval. We already have approval.

We weed today. We don't let the sun go down on our anger. We don't allow noxious feelings spread. We don't give the devil a foothold. We are quick to address and forgive.

Prayer is our working method. In the parking lot, prayer chapel, away from campus.
