Bob Scott Tribute

Trinity friends don't need any introduction to Bob Scott. Bob has been one of the most consistent faces of Trinity since he and his beautiful wife, Greta walked into Trinity 57 years ago, and Pr Les Hoffman helped Bob come to the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ. Bob was a loooooong time elder, and many remember him for his wisdom and kindness. Bob engaged in the ministry of Christ with his spirit and body. You could find him on his knees in prayer, and you could find him on his knees building, fixing, and improving the church campus.

The night that Bob died, I told him that there was something I needed to tell him on behalf of Trinity. I said something close to this:

"Bob, thank you! Thank you for investing your life in the work of Jesus at Trinity. Thank you for loving and being a faithful husband to your dear wife, Gretta. Thank you for raising kids who know Jesus. Thank you for the wisdom and insight you brought to Trinity for years. Thank you for using your sense of humor. Thank you for the generous way you have supported the ministry at Trinity."

Then 2 hours later he heard:

"Well done, good and faithful servant."

Tomorrow (Friday, February 14th--which would have been Bob and Greta's 66th anniversary) we give thanks to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for Bob Scott at 2pm. Blessed be His memory!
