False Allure of Extra Time

Joachim Trier, a 34 year old Norwegian film maker, commented on the vast wealth of most Norwegians in yesterday's LA Times. They have money for the arts, resources for most young people to get the education they desire, and time for self reflection. He said,

There is something interesting about people who have the privilege of
self-reflection and then figure out that knowing about yourself doesn't help you
a bit."
